103 Hospital and Tahua International Trade Ink Deal on Advanced Lithotripsy Technology

Vientiane: The 103 Hospital and Tahua International Trade Sole Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement on the development of extracorporeal lithotripsy technology in Vientiane on September 1, 2026.

According to Lao News Agency, the agreement was formalized in a ceremony presided over by Brigadier General Khamphaeng Phoummakeo, Head of the Medical Department of the General Logistics Department of the Lao People's Army. The event was attended by prominent figures including Brigadier General Savengxay Dalasath, Military Commander of the 103 Hospital, and Mr. Sitpasong Louphasay, President of Tahua International Trade Sole Co., Ltd., along with officials and technical staff from both parties.

The agreement is set to enhance diagnostic and treatment procedures, establish accounting and cost-calculation protocols for special cases, and clearly define the responsibilities of both parties to ensure the safety and quality of medical practices.

In addition to the main agreement, Brigadier General Savengxay Dalasath and Mr. Sitpasong Louphasay signed a supplementary agreement that amends the initial terms of their cooperation.

The ceremony concluded with a ribbon-cutting event, marking the official inauguration of the Extracorporeal Lithotripsy Room at the 103 Hospital.
