Yuxi City of China’s Yunnan Province has provided some 12,500 facemasks and 2,720 pieces of personal protective equipment – PPE – worth CNY 200,000 (more than 300 million kip) to support the prevention and control of COVID-19 outbreak in the southernmost province of Champassak.
The handover ceremony was held on Sep 15, at the Champassak Provincial Administration Office in the presence of relevant officials of both sides.
Some 154 new cases of Covid-19 have been recorded nationwide over the past 24 hours including 61 in Khammuan, 32 in Savannakhet, 23 in Champassak, 15 in Luang Prabang, 14 in Vientiane, six in Bokeo, three in Saravan and two in Luang Namtha.
