Washington: The United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has announced the deportation of numerous criminal illegal aliens from the country, targeting individuals convicted of serious offenses such as murder, criminal sexual conduct, burglary, driving while intoxicated, and drug trafficking.
According to Homeland Security, the deportations were executed last week by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), reflecting the agency's commitment to removing individuals with criminal convictions. DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin emphasized the importance of these actions, stating that 80% of Americans support the effort to deport criminal aliens to enhance community safety. He reiterated the administration's stance on illegal immigration, highlighting the consequences for those who attempt to enter the country unlawfully.
The deported individuals include Esteban Demecio Hernandez from Mexico, with a criminal history of second-degree murder, gross vehicular manslaughter, and multiple counts of driving under the influence. Sue Vang from Laos was deported following a conviction for first-degree criminal sexual conduct. Darshankumar Ashwinkumar Patel from India faced deportation for domestic abuse, harassment, and intoxicated driving. Other deportees include Wilson Amilcar Vasquez-Caballero from Honduras, with a history of burglary and illegal re-entry, and Abaye Tafesse from Ethiopia, convicted for possession with intent to distribute significant quantities of narcotics.
