The Indian Embassy in Vientiane on Jan 26 celebrated the 73rd anniversary of Republic Day of India by holding a flag hoisting ceremony at the embassy premises.
In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the ceremony saw participation only of members of the embassy. However, it was live streamed on YouTube and Facebook pages of the embassy.
After unfurling of the Indian Tricolour Flag, the Ambassador of India Dinkar Asthana read out the address of Shri Ram Nath Kovind, the President of India to the nation.
