Vientiane: A senior official of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party engaged with the Cuban ambassador to commemorate the 71st anniversary of the party’s founding. Mr. Bounleua Phandanouvong, Head of the Committee for External Relations of the Party Central Committee, welcomed Enna Viant Valdés at the committee’s headquarters in Vientiane on March 26.
According to Lao News Agency, the Cuban ambassador, accompanied by embassy officials, visited to extend congratulations on the anniversary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party, which was established on March 22, 1955. During the meeting, Mr. Bounleua expressed appreciation for the goodwill message, noting it as a testament to the enduring friendship between Laos and Cuba, and the strong ties between their respective parties.
Both parties emphasized ongoing cooperation between the Lao party’s external relations committee and the international relations body of the Communist Party of Cuba, as well as their collaboration with the Cuban Embassy in Laos. Discuss
