PNP confers ‘institutionalized status’ to Caraga police

The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Wednesday announced that its Police Regional Office (PRO) 13 (Caraga) was honored with the prestigious ‘institutionalized status’ for its outstanding implementation of the Performance Governance System (PGS). In a statement, PNP spokesperson Brig. Gen. Redrico A. Maranan said the recognition was bestowed upon PRO-13, headed by Brig. Gen. Pablo G. Labra II, during a conferment ceremony held at Camp Rafael T. Crame during Monday’s flag-raising ceremony. “Under the exceptional leadership of Brig. Gen. Labra II and the support of the PRO-13 command group and the Regional Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (RAGPTD) led by Mr. Ryan Anthony Culima, PRO-13 achieved the highest PGS award by attaining an impressive overall rating of 97.16 percent during the rigorous Institutionalization Evaluation Process,” he said. The highlight of the event was the presentation of the highly coveted Gold Eagle Award, symbolizing PRO-13’s remarkable commitment to excellence. The conferment ceremony was headed by PNP acting deputy chief for administration, Lt. Gen. Rhodel O. Sermonia, and other ranking officials.
