VIENTIANE: President Thongloun Sisolith received a message of congratulations from his Chinese counterpart, Mr. Xi Jinping, on the occasion of the 49th Anniversary of the Founding of the Lao PDR.
According to Lao News Agency, the message conveyed warm congratulations and best wishes from China’s Party, Government, and People to Laos. The message highlighted recent achievements made by the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party during its 11th Party Congress, emphasizing the country’s progress in reform and opening up. It noted Laos’s successful tenure as ASEAN’s rotating chair, which enhanced its regional and international influence.
The message also credited Laos’ advancements to the leadership of its Central Committee and the General Secretary. It praised Laos for adhering to its socialist framework and steadily building new capacities in party strengthening and national development.
