The Vehicle Registration and Driving Management Division of the Vientiane Department of Public Works and Transport has opened three new vehicle registration and driving management offices in Hadxaifong, Xaythany and Naxaithong districts.
The opening of the secondary offices aims to increase public access to vehicle registration and driving management service, and mitigate misconduct among officials with respect to vehicle registration and driving management, according to Mr. Odai Saisit, Deputy Chief of the Vehicle and Driving Management Division.
The new district offices are able to issue vehicle registrations, provide vehicle technical inspection service and conduct driving licence examinations.
