Vientiane: During a farewell meeting, the Vice President praised Ambassador Jung for his significant contributions to bolstering the longstanding friendship and expanding cooperation between Laos and the Republic of Korea. She acknowledged that his tenure played a key role in deepening bilateral relations across various sectors, thereby enhancing the growing Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two nations.
According to Lao News Agency, Mrs. Viengthong expressed her confidence in the continued advancement of friendly relations and cooperation between Laos and the Republic of Korea in the coming years. She extended her best wishes to Ambassador Jung for a safe journey back home and success in his future endeavors.
Ambassador Jung conveyed his heartfelt gratitude to the Vice President for the warm reception and thanked the Party, Government, and people of the Lao PDR for their cooperation, support, and hospitality during his tenure. He noted that the assistance provided by Lao authorities was instrumental in successfully executing his duties and in further strengthening the close ties between the two countries.
Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to further enhancing the friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation between Laos and the Republic of Korea.
