Vietnamese and Lao Provinces Aim to Strengthen Bilateral Ties.


(KPL/VNA): Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the central province of Quang Ngai, Dinh Thi Hong Minh, recently welcomed a delegation from the Lao Front for National Construction (LFNC) committee of Sekong province. During the meeting, which took place on October 30, the Vietnamese official emphasized Quang Ngai’s commitment to fostering strong relations with southern provinces of Laos, including Sekong, and expressed robust support for Laos’ renewal initiatives.

According to Lao News Agency, Quang Ngai has been proactive in nurturing this relationship by hosting and educating students from Laos. The province has also facilitated an environment conducive for businesses and investors from both regions to conduct market research, explore investment opportunities, and finalize economic and trade agreements. Hong voiced her aspirations for Quang Ngai and Sekong to continue working closely to implement agreements effectively, enhance exchanges, and share experiences. This, she believes, will further deepen
and strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two provinces and enhance the solidarity, special friendship, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos overall.

Bunhien Bunchit, Chairwoman of the LFNC Sekong chapter, commended the achievements in the comprehensive cooperation between Sekong and Quang Ngai. She expressed gratitude for the substantial support Quang Ngai has extended to Sekong in recent times and concurred on the importance of increasing exchanges and experience sharing to advance their relations in a practical and effective manner.
