Chitungwiza: The Cuban Medical Brigade in Zimbabwe organized a health care fair in collaboration with the Chitungwiza Central Hospital, held at the town’s Public House, located approximately 24 kilometers south of the capital. Specialists from various medical fields, including gynecology, pediatrics, internal medicine, and stomatology, provided consultations to 160 patients over the weekend as part of their voluntary work. The event also included treatment, the distribution of medicines, and educational talks for attendees.
According to Lao News Agency, the main health issues addressed during the fair were intestinal parasitism, arthritis, arterial hypertension, and abdominal pain. The XIV Cuban Medical Brigade in Zimbabwe, which consists of 16 doctors and specialists, is actively working in hospitals in Harare and Bulawayo. This initiative is part of the Caribbean nation’s larger effort to collaborate on health care with numerous countries worldwide.
